The start was slow. Okay, new series, setting up the story etc, etc. I can understand that. Rhys' flash of brilliance that everything was centred on Britain was just perfect. He isn't the idjit fandom makes him out to be after all.
Jack and Ianto are still cute together. They don't like being called a couple, but they definitely are. I still don't think anything will stop Jack from hitting on everything he sees, not even a relationship with Ianto. They both have commitment issues.
What we find out about Jack though... he's got a daughter, and a grandson. And he still keeps in contact with them, although he does get called 'Uncle Jack'. I wonder if he has any other children and grandchildren out there. Maybe even greatgrandchildren.
And OMG Gwen's PREGNANT!!! Go Gwen and Rhys. I hope that ends happily, I really do.
As for the end... let's just say that at 9pm tomorrow, or 11:45 if dad can't figure out how to shuffle the recording schedule around to accommodate Torchwood (Dollhouse, CSI: Miami, Csi: New York and Chuck are all recording at 9 or 10), I will be in front of the telly.
Definitely recognised the hospital scenes. Some people will probably complain about the BBC being lazy, but I think it's actually good that they didn't waste money building a set for the hospital when the Holby City ED set is available for them on a permanent basis.

Glad it's off to a good start...I can't wait to see it on this side of the ocean.
