I love fanfiction. I enjoy finding well-written fic that makes me look at characters in new ways especially. And I owe some of my fandoms to fanfiction, as I never would have heard of them without the ever-popular crossover. I like writing as well, getting my ideas out onto the screen for other people to hopefully read and enjoy.

(Ew, you suxx0rs 4 liking Sheldon/Penny. Sheldon/Johnny 4eva!)

Well, the chances of me finding a hundred dollars is rare, given that it's not my currency. If I found a hundred quid though.... I'd like to say I'd be honest enough to hand it in, but if it's not in a purse or wallet or anything like that, I'd actually be more likely to keep it. A hundred quid could be useful.

A headless daemon spreading its wings as a sign for the followers of Chaos to unleash an attack on some terrified Guardsmen.

Okay, that's enough 40K books for now, I think.

Goblet of Fire, most definitely. I didn't like Harry's emotastic behaviour in OotP, and I hated Umbitch and the fact that Sirius died. HBP and DH were meh for me, and I didn't like the epilogue, due it's neat and tidy pairing off of the characters in a very fanficish style.

I would says guns, as I suspect a lot people have, but they're not exactly modern really.

Nukes, on the other hand, would be one thing humans could live without. Nukes and date rape drugs.

Well... sorta. I'm mostly worried about the possibility that all international travel to and from Britain will be shut down, thereby preventing me from going to San Diego. And not being able to get my money for my ticket back because I haven't got travel insurance yet.

Getting ill? Nah, that's not a major worry right now.

An omnibus edition of all the Sharpe books by Bernard Cornwell
An omnibus edition of all the CHERUB books by Robert Muchamore
An omnibus edition of His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman
An omnibus edition of The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien
An omnibus edition of all the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett

It's probably cheating to reduce entire series' into omnibus editions, especially for long ones like Sharpe and Discworld, but I seriously can't choose between them.

No one ever asks me to explain it, since it tends to make people back away when I use it, but my brother and I came up with 'mother-fucking pussy-licking Bird's Eye potato waffle' a few years ago, and we still use it.

It's probably a good thing that no one's ever asked for an explanation, since I'm not sure what we mean by it either.

Comfort beats fashion any day. I'm much happier in a pair of jeans, T-shirt and jumper/sweater/hoodie than the latest design off the catwalk. Besides, comfort's cheaper.

Oh, god, no! That settles it, I'm avoiding the cinema until at least a week after it's released. Wait... according to Wikipedia it's already been out in the UK since Wednesday. That shows how interested I am in it.

Uh, no. No one in my family will ask for directions when lost, myself included. Add this to my complete inability to read a map and you get fun times for all. :D

(translated by a brave researcher) Not really. Sure there's the whole being undead thing, and you start to rot after a while and there's this irresistible urge to munch on your former friends and family and turn them into zombies, but it's not all that bad. No more paying bills or taxes, no more rush hour traffic, no more daily grind and no social expectations.

Yup, life is pretty sweet as a zombie. At least as long as you avoid those damned human hero-wannabes who think it's their job to kill you. Oh, shit, here comes another on...urk!

(the researcher was found to have been infected sometime during his investigation into zombie culture and was killed two days after his return to human territory, as a threat to mankind)
